1. This blog contains explicit material. I do not roleplay with anyone under 21. Users 18 and up have access to this blog, but anyone under 18 will be blocked. NSFW will be placed under a read-more or otherwise tagged as appropriate, depending on the comfort-level of my writing partner. NSFW content is not necessary for my character to interact with or form a relationship with yours.2. I primarily write para, novella, and narrative style replies. Shorter replies may happen from time to time, mostly with affiliates or those I have extensive IC relationships with, but my primary length is multi-paragraph. If your style is one-liner or shorthand, our writing may not mesh well, and I may opt out of interaction between our characters.3. Replies to my affiliates, listed in my pinned, will take priority from time to time. These are people I've formed relationships with outside of just IC interactions, but my prioritizing of our threads does not mean I think lesser of others. I am still completely open to interactions with non-affiliates, mutual or non-mutual.4. Hard-blocking is a last resort for me. I will hard-block minors, those who act in bad faith or have bigoted behavior, or individuals who use anonymous messages to harass/spam others. I will unfollow (or soft-block) individuals who post too much OOC (including: using their RP blog as an image hoard, unrelated images/memes/IRL information, and constant posts looking for monetary support), individuals who I have not roleplayed with in several months and have not formed a relationship with, and individuals who continuously post aggressive "hot-takes" that come across as instigating or spiteful. I enjoy catering my space. This will be how I do it.5. I will tag content (images, writing, videos) containing noncon, dubcon, and flashing images/gifs. If you require something specific to be tagged, please feel free to DM and ask. My request is that you tag images/video containing eye-trauma. (Bloody eyes, eyes being cut, stabbed, sliced, etc.) I do not need any tags for written subjects.6. Open posts will be tagged with: △ on the air △ | Anyone can reply or reblog these posts with intent to interact as long as no one else is tagged in them and as long as they do not contain the tag for a specific ship-verse or AU.7. Please acknowledge my character's abilities and canon power level. Disregard or brush him aside at your own risk. Continuous disregard for his status and power without justification (just because your character 'can' or presumes themselves 'better' as him without any real backing for it) will likely lead to me dropping the thread or no longer interacting. I provide weaknesses for him that can be exploited under the right circumstances, you do not need to create further weaknesses FOR me.8. Be kind and courteous. I will not interact if you are rude.

——————[ Personality ]Alastor is described as a man of duality. He values good manners, affability and intelligence very highly in others, and will actively look down on those who do not meet his standards, however he will often play fast and loose with these arbitrary rules in regards to himself and his own conduct.Alastor has an odd sense of morality, which is described as “not normal”, and has been noted to be quite sadistic, even cannibalistic, devouring lesser demons or those that have incurred his anger. He tends to keep most individuals at arm’s length unless they are stubborn, persistent, and patient enough to bury their way through his layers of masking.His smiling is an enforced form of ego and a show of power and dominance; he looks down on anyone who let’s their true emotions show, and even when faced with a rival in strength, if they let slip a frown, Alastor will see them as truly weak. His smile is also to be more unpredictable and unnerving, and gives him a feeling of complete control over himself. Since falling into Hell and doubling-down on his deal made with Rosie, the smile has become a permanent fixture as a result. He cannot stop smiling, even if he wants to.Despite consistently having a confident and cheerful demeanor, he harbors a vulnerable side that becomes apparent when confronted with reminders of being “chained”. In this instance, his façade of certainty crumbles, and he succumbs to panic attack.
——————[ Extra Notes ]This version of Alastor will not utilize the voodoo symbols that he utilizes in the show. This is out of respect for the culture and traditions that are associated with these symbols that the writer has no association with in order to avoid any semblance of disrespect or appropriation.This version of Alastor harbors a brand on his back in the shape of an upside-down pentagram. This brand was placed by his benefactor, Rosie, and either bleeds, burns, or carves itself deeper as a means of preventing Alastor from speaking of his deal. He does not expose this scarring except to someone who has fully earned both his trust and loyalty.This version of Alastor is aroace; as such, shipping will be difficult but not impossible. Most “shipping” relationships will not look like your garden-variety relationship, but may not necessarily exclude NSFW interactions entirely and they will be unique to Alastor’s sexuality and preferences. Please do not follow in the hopes that a ship is a given. I love to build chemistry and unique interactions! So let’s write!

DEFAULT INTERACTIONS WILL OCCUR POST S2 OF HAZBIN HOTELChanges may occur from ship-verse to ship-verse.[ CANON COMPLIANT ]Alastor's dealmaker is Rosie.Alastor's initial reasoning for the deal made was for ultimate power in Hell.Alastor is the most powerful sinner in Hell - only briefly 'dethroned' by Vox during his stint against Heaven.Alastor's staff and power are restored by Rosie in accordance with the finale of S2. (Tit for tat; this is not a LASTING deal but an exchange made to assist with the removal of Vox's weapon.)[ CANON DIVERGED ]Alastor doubled-down on his initial deal with Rosie by offering himself to be branded for tracking purposes, out of the belief that Rosie could also possibly get him access to Heaven temporarily to see his mother again (for nefarious reasons). Hence the formation of the pentagram brand he still has along his spine.The deal broken in the finale is only one of his two. He remains tied to Rosie otherwise via the pentagram brand.It is assumed that Rosie has a connection to Lilith in some way, ergo, her interest in the hotel aligns with the protection of the Morningstars. Alastor is not aware of this beyond knowing that Rosie has interests in keeping Charlie safe for some bizarre reason.Despite fighting with Vox and wanting to assert himself in power against him, Alastor is not capable of killing Vox himself (without it being something Vox is granting him willingly). He still has repressed feelings for the man, despite all his posturing. They need each other, similar to a Batman/Joker style relationship. Where that develops will depend on each individual Vox that I play with.Alastor remains at the hotel now, still not out of free will, but with his own motivations and goals in mind and a bit more freedom, as long as he remains there.Rosie still uses the pentagram to discipline Alastor via nightmares and scarification when he misbehaves - though this happens less frequently than in did during the events of Season 1.
